On the 10th and 11th of June MNPC held their annual tournament at the new and amazing new venue at Wendover Estate it was a huge success and the field played unbelievably, in fact I cannot recall any stumbles or tumbles due to the field all weekend. (Only due to complete dedication to the ball as usual Garth Coetzee :)) The Saturday reminded all the players of the 'good old days' at Ruzawi River Club as Marondera definitely treated us with the coldest day of the year! Luckily we were surrounded by fire drums and warm coffee!
All the games throughout the weekend were close and exciting and our juniors really preformed and we are all loving watching them get better and better. It was good to see old and new faces out on the field and of course we would like to thank all the people thank came to watch! For the first time in many years we were able to put up A Division teams with 3 ladies and 3 men which made for very exciting polocorsse, specially with the ladies tour to Zambia and the New Zealand barbarian side coming here soon. The games were all played off scratch and extremely close!
